Gainesville Gladiators Mission Statement

     The Gainesville Gladiators Football Organization is the brainchild of Coach Todd Payne and Coach Nate Stephens. Our Organization was formed to bring a fresh new face to the world of Minor League Football. The Gainesville Gladiators will refuse to compromise the integrity of our organization, league or this great sport in order to "get a leg up" on the competition. We demand that our players play the sport with respect for themselves, our coaches, teammates, opposing teams and people in the community as well as the rules of the game. The Gladiators will offer no safe haven for cheaters. We take great pride in offering a place and organization for the young adults in our community to continue playing this sport we all love. In the process, we continue to push them toward pursuing further education, through college and technical school. In the meantime, we can occasionally provide an opportunity for our players to advance their athletic careers, either through college or professional athletics. The age group with the biggest risk of exposure to violence on the streets is 18-26 years old. This age group makes up the foundation of our roster. The rest is made up of slightly older, wiser mentor type players with experience both on and off the field. These are the guys that can set a good example for our younger players. We feel that if we can keep them in a structured organization and being productive, we can decrease their risk of becoming involved in a bad situation. We intend to push the select few that possess the combination of athletic ability and mental capacity toward the next level of college or pro football. In the meantime we will put a quality organization on the field that our local community can be proud to come out and watch. Thanks for taking the time to check out our organization!
