Bryant-Denny Stadium
920 Paul W Bryant Drive, Tuscaloosa, AL, US
Bryant-Denny Stadium has been the fooball stadium of the Alabama Crimson Tide since 1929, with a capacity of 12,000 people. Now the field can hold 92, 138 people per game! The Tide benefit from the rowdy fans, screaming "Roll, Tide" every chance they get. Tuscaloosa is definetely somewhere that no SEC foe wants to go, because, other than having to face the likes of Brodie Croyle and Ken Darby, they have to face 'Bama's awe-inspiring football stadium. A picture of Bryant-Denny is on the home page.
Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
3911 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles , CA, US
The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum has one of the richest histories of any stadium in college fooball; however, its history comes from other sports, too. The L.A. Coliseum was built to host the 1932 Olympics. After that, three teams have played host to the Coliseum, but only the Trojans still reside here. When the Brooklyn Dodgers moved here in the 50s, the field was very oddly configurated. Although the Dodgers won a World Series at the Coliseum, they moved to Dodger Stadium in 1962. Another team also called the Coliseum home: the L.A. Raiders. In fact, the first Super Bowl was played in the Coliseum. But, through every come and go of other teams, one constant remained: the USC Trojans. With players such as Marcus Allen, Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, and Reggie Bush playing here, the crowd is annualy treated to a bowl-worthy season.
Ohio Stadium
411 Woody Hayes Drive, Columbus , OH, US
Altough its name is Ohio Stadium, nobody in the world will ever call it that. It will forever be known in the hearts of fans as "The Horseshoe". It has gotten that name from its horseshoe shape that is unforgettable, and is always packed. With a seating capacity of 101,568, the crowd gives the Buckeyes an obvious advantage in home games. With the likes of Archie Griffin, Eddie George, and Troy Smith playing here, the crowd gets a great show everytime they come here.
