Notes:
Great game on Saturday. It was a fine day for soccer, and the parents and fans got to see a great game! The lads played very well, and the game gave us everything you could want in a soccer match. There were great passes, strong dribbling and runs with the ball, solid tackles and hard challenges. Accurate and directed headers! Strong finishing and shots, and great determination from everyone. A strong team effort, where we saw the boys battle back from an early goal against to win it late in the 2nd half....a well executed corner kick, which resulted in a strike from outside the penalty area to give us the lead...a lead the boys protected for the final few minutes to gain their 9th win of the season. Well done everyone. |
