Notes:
In an exciting rematch against Dakota, who beat us 3-2 Saturday night, the kids came up with a big game to beat Dakota 3-1. Kyle scored first, at 6:56 of the first period, then Dakota managed to tie it up with a blooper goal with just 1 second left in the period. Andrew scored the only goal of the second period at 7:16, then Mark B scored at 6:29 of the third period to put the game away. Brett came up with a great game in the net, keeping his focus and composure despite playing on an injured ankle and some very rough play on the part of the Dakota team. Considering this was the 5th ice time of the weekend for most of the boys, they deserve a huge pat on the back for playing hard and coming up with a win when we need it most. |
