Notes:
We lost our second game of the Glenwood tournament last night 3-2 to Dakota. Louis opened the scoring with just 21 seconds left in the first period, assists by Ryan and Kyle. Dakota tied the game at 9:08 of the second period, so we went into the third tied 1-1. Dakota scored early in the third but we answered back quickly, Kyle got an unassisted goal from the point. Dakota scored again shortly after and despite pulling Brett we were unable to tie the game. We did manage to avoid an empty-net goal despite several chances. Brett made some good saves to keep the game close, and despite allowing 3 goals in the game, he got the digger award. Thanks to Steven Morrison, who came to help us out on defence and had a solid game. |
