Notes:
Game Notes: The team came out strong today against a good Fort Garry team. Dan K. scored the first goal of the game at 4:14 of the first period, assisted by Brett. Penalty trouble in the second period resulted in 2 quick goals for Fort Garry, but due to Taylor's solid performance in the net and consistent good decisions by our quick-thinking defencemen the score stayed close and we went into the third period down by just one goal. Mark scored a short-handed goal at 12:43 to tie the game, assisted by Matthew. Just over 2 minutes later, at 10:39, Dan K. scored his second goal of the game, unassisted. Despite a lot of pressure by Fort Garry we managed to hang on to win the game 3-2. |
