Game Notes: In the second game (a non league game) the Renegades continued their winning ways, grounding the Eagles with an 11-3 decision. The scrimmage-type atmosphere allowed several Renegades to “try out” new positions, as we saw Austin L in the OF, a new 2B-SS combo of Clint and Lucas, as well as a few other surprises. Plus, it was just confirmed that Steven set a record as the biggest 2B to ever play in a GGBL game. On the hill, Michael, Drew and Ryan held the Eagles to 3 runs (2 earmed) on 7 hits, with only two walks. It was a big day for Austins. Austin L hit the first OVER-THE-FENCE HR of the season today, clearing the right-center fence in the fourth. On the day, Austin L scored three runs. Austin S had two hits including a double and scored two runs. Nick added a triple, scoring on Austin L’s HR, Michael hit a double, and Lucas had a double with 3 RBI on the game. Clint, Ryan, Drew and Steven added singles.
