Game Notes: The Renegades open the Bulldog Bash with a win over Winder. Patrick started and went four innings, scattering two hits and getting 6 strikeouts. Austin S followed with three innings of two hit pitching, getting four strikeouts. In additon to great pitching and great control (only one walk in seven innings), the Renegade defense rebounded with some good plays in the field and only one error. Superior defensive positioning by Coach Randy, moving Austin L more to the middle of the infield, led to a double play. The Renegade backstops allowed no stolen bases and gunned down two would-be basestealers. Nick and Austin L both tripled in the game, and Michael had two doubles. Drew and Ryan both added two singles, and Austin S and Lucas added solo singles. Clint had four stolen bases on the day.
