Then 38 seconds later at 9:57, Andrew Kossack put the puck past Riels net minder Connor

Bell, assists went to Shymko and Miller.

The Riels 26 seconds later got their 2nd

play from Young and Gorrie.

Knights closed the gap before the end of the 1st

Lumsden and Kilpatrick. The period ended 3 -2 Riels. Knights outshot Riels 17 -11.

SECOND PERIOD

The second period was very tight checking. The Knights came out hustling, winning the

Battles on the boards and taking away the neutral zone.

Goaltender Connor Bell had a great period, he was tested a lot. He was focused and kept

the Riels ahead by 3 -2. That made the Riels spark up when at 6:40 of the second; Captain

Michael Gorrie tapped in a goal from Michaels and Young. That made it 4 -2 Riels after 2.

Knights outshot the Riels 12 -5.

THIRD PERIOD

There was no scoring in the 3rd

penalties again net minder Connor Bell kept the Riels in it for the whole game. The Knights

were 0 for 7 on the power play tonight.
