Posted Sep 13/11 - 7 White go 2-0, Others Fight Hard

 7 White

Under a hot September sun, The Templeton 7th Grade White Bulldogs defeated Wisconsin Lutheran 13-0. Leading the defensive charge for the Bulldogs’ first shutout was Nick Trawicki and Logan Heimann combining for 10 tackles.

Offensively the Bulldogs were led by the hard nose running of Gage Minor who scored two touchdowns. In addition to a 27 yard reception, Jayden Hawkins made a key block on the first touchdown. Evan Laskowski made a key block on the second score. Also making holes on the offensive line were Colton Heisdorf, Adam May, Jordan Neumann, Nick Dary, and Tom Endries. This was a terrific Team Effort by a hungry Bulldog squad!

8 White

The Bulldogs played Wisconsin Lutheran and came up 4 points short.  The final score was 28-24 Wisconsin Lutheran.  The Bulldogs were lead offensively by Adam Kashel with 5 carries for 79 yards and 3 touchdowns and E.J. LeDonne with 6 carries for 37 yards.  Also, Kashel had an interception for a touchdown in the loss.  Defensively, the Bulldogs were lead by Wyatt Schmidt (3 solo and 3 half tackles), Jake Macaluso (1 solo and 5 half tackles), Alex Doering (4 half tackles) and Brent Weber (5 half tackles).  

7 Blue

The 7th grade Blue Templeton Bulldogs traveled to Waukesha to face the Waukesha Blackshirts. The game was back and forth and both teams played very hard. Waukesha won the game 20-19 on a late touchdown.

The Bulldogs got 2 touchdowns from Ryan Hubbel who also completed 6 of 13 passes. Ezra Heinritz also had a touchdown on a 1 yard run. The Bulldogs were led by Jake Kessenich who had 50 yards rushing. David Lex caught 4 balls for the Bulldogs. Defensively, the Bulldogs were led by Alex Surma who had 5 tackles and Owen Gorges recovered a fumble. The Bulldogs are 1-1 on the season


8 Blue

On a warm Saturday afternoon the 8th grade TMS Bulldogs “Blue” were tested all game by tough Waukesha South team. Despite the effort the Bulldogs were defeated by the Blackshirts 38-22The Defense had a tough job in front of them. They were challenged by a efficient Blackshirt ground attack. Sam Herriges and Connor Engel led the Bulldogs D with each linebacker recording ten tackles. Five of those tackles coming by the solo variety for both players. Brad Colosimo and Troy Gardipee led the D-line with four tackles each. Coloismo and Engel both had fumble recoveries. Safety Trevor Wittman pitched in with four tackjles of his own. Logan Cleary and Dustin Griepentrog both recorded pass deflections fopr the Bulldogs.

Travis Janus got the Bulldogs on the scoreboard first. Janus took the opening kickoff 75 yards to the endzone. Matt Ammel added the extra point to give the Bulldogs an early 8-0 lead. Fullback Sam Herriges led TMS Blue with 70 yards rushing. He also returned a kickoff 70 yards for another Bulldog touchdown. Quarterback Ty Botsford found wingback Coe Anderson for 36 yards and a TMS touchdown. The coachiong staff would liketo commend the team for their solid effort as they showed much improvement from the first game. Nice Job “Dawgs”.

The Bulldog Blue team finally get a home game this Saturday versus Kettle Moraine. 9 am is the scheduled kickoff. We all hope to see you there.
