7 White

The 7th grade white team played South Milwaukee on Saturday. In the blowing snow and wind the Bulldogs lost 25-19. The Bulldogs were leading at half time 19-12. Good line play from Brad Biswell, Tanner Schaefgen, Andrew Ullmann, Colin Mergenthaler, Dylan Schultz, Austin Mottl, and Jack Reider led to a ground attack that could not be stopped. Sam Mattieson Tyler Davis and Joe Carro each had a touchdown. Austin Mottl led the team with 7 tackles and Tyler Davis had 6 tackles.

7 Blue

The 7th Grade Blue Bulldogs defeated the Waterford Goslings 19-12.  Ben Kinowski was explosive Saturday as he led the Bulldogs rushing attack with 151 yards and two touchdowns.  Alex Schultz added a touchdown and had some incredible catches to keep Bulldog drives alive.  Fueling the Offense this week was solid line play by Kyle Purfuerst, Andrew Poenitsch, Patrick Jene, Clay Klatt, David Koepke, and Jordan Pintor.  In addition to running hard, Bennett Gillsinger also had several key blocks throughout the day.

Michael Barnes was a key to shutting down the Gosling passing attack, knocking down three would-be touchdowns.  Justin Meidenbauer had an interception.  Eric Thompson recovered a fumble caused by  Kinowski.  This was a Great Team Effort!

8 Blue

The TMS 8th grade Blue won the last home game for the season as they defeated South Milwaukee 20-6. The Bulldogs got things going right away scoring on their first two possessions. The first was a 30 yard run from Ryan Warzon.  The second score for the Bulldogs was a 17 yard pass from Brady Ellingson to Warzon.  The scoring on offense concluded with a beautiful 55 yard pass from Ellingson to Tyler Surma who found pay dirt for the first time this year.  John Phillips led the all rushers with 65 yards on the ground followed by Warzons’ 40 yards. Adam Jost also chipped in with 40 yards of his own.

It was a hard hitting affair for the defense. The Bulldog D held a tough Rocket offense.  The defensive unit collected 6 sacks for the day, including one for a safety by Michael Liebham. Interceptions from Brett Buehler and Brady Ellingson control the Rockets attack.   Ryan Warzon led all tacklers with 10 followed by Brett Neverman with 6 and Evan Rentmeester contributed with 4 of his own.  The W gives the Blue team a record of 5-1 with one game remaining. They travel to Kettle Moraine on Saturday.
