7 White

The 7th grade white Bulldog football team kicked off their season on Saturday. The Bulldogs traveled to Dretzka Park to play Milwaukee Marquette. The Bulldogs lost 25-6. Aaron Kotlan returned a 75 yard kick off for the Bulldogs score. Michael Bruch and Ty Botsford led the team in tackles. EJ LeDonne and Lukas Semb led the Bulldogs in 42 rushing yards.

 

7 Blue

The 7th Grade Blue team began the season in exciting fashion beating Waukesha West 14-0.  The Bulldogs forced four turnovers which helped lead them to victory.  Nick Cieslik opened the scoring for the Bulldogs, and Sam Herriges added a touchdown for good measure.  Both Touchdowns were scored in the first half.  Great defense was played all 32 minutes by the Bulldogs.  Aaron Goecks, Austin Thompson, and Troy Gardipee led the defensive attack.

8 White

On Saturday, August 28th, the Bulldogs began their 2010 season with a 28-0 loss at Marquette.  After a difficult first quarter, the Bulldog defense settled down and limited their opponent to only 8 points over the remaining three quarters.  The defense was led by Joseph Corrao (8 tackles), Ryan Hernandez (7 tackles, ½ sack), and Alex Schultz (6 tackles).  The ground game was evenly distributed between Joseph Corrao, Sam Matthiesen, and Alex Schultz who all rushed for 30-40 yards. 

8 Blue

The 2010 season has started for the Templeton Bulldogs 8th grade Blue team. Unfortunately the home debut did not go as planned. The Bulldogs were defeated by a tough Waukesha West Grey Team 19-6.

For the Bulldogs, the offense was led by Bennett Gilsinger and Ben Kinowski. The pair of running backs both had 30 yards of rushing. In the scoring drive Jack Geels completed a 25 pass play to receiver Tony Gammon. A few plays later Kinowski capped the drive off by scoring from a yard out.

The Bulldog defense was put to the test early as West controlled the ball with a balanced attack. Tyler Davis led the defense with six tackles, followed by Alex Marx with 5. Tony Gwinn also contributed with 3 from the secondary. The team looks to refocus as they try to even their record. As they travel to Waukesha North in two weeks.
