8 Blue

The ball finally bounced the right way for the TMS 8th grade Blue team, as they were victorious 30-28 over Watertown. The offense had themselves a monstrous day by gaining 346 yards on the ground and in the air. The success would have not been possible if wasn't for the play of the offensive line of Brad Biswell, Austin Mottl, Andrew Ullman, Jordan Pintor and Kyle Purfurest. They paved the way for Ben Kinowski who did most of the work with gaining a 105 yards on 13 carries. Tyler Davis had three scores also had  80 yards rushing and 80 recieving. Bennett Gilsinger found paydirt for the first time this year with a 12 yard reception thrown by Jack Geels. Geels finished with 92 yards passing and two touchdown passes. The Bulldog Defense was tested all morning by a balanced Watertown  team. In the closing moments of the game, the defense came up big. Jordan Ziebell sacked the quarterback for a big loss and the very next play Tom Vandyke intercepted a pass to seal the victory for TMS. It was his second interception of the day. Vandyke and Chris Lutzen led the defense with 5 tackles each. The Bulldogs look to turn the season around as they host cross town rival Menomonee Falls this Saturday
