A’s Lose Another

Not long ago the A’s were sitting 4-2, and were at the mindset of challenging the Roadrunners for first place. Now the team is wondering what they need to do to win another ball game.

Tuesday night was a familar theme the Athletics are getting a little tired of. Ray Lehman started for the Athletics on the mound against Steve Offrim of the Roadrunners. Camrose was relentless at the plate. They would score 2 runs in the 1st 2 runs in the 3rd and chase Lehman off the mound in the fourth with an 11-0 lead.

Bardo would have runners in scoring position throughout the night, but either Offrim would pitch out of it, or the A’s would swing through it. Mike LeClaire would come in and do an excellent job holding the Camrose squad off the scoreboard for the rest of the game. It left most of team wondering where we really do sit in this years mix.

Armena is their next opponent Thursday night, a team, that with a win, is right behing the struggling A’s. Thursday’s match is huge for both teams.
