We (Lloydminster) play our games at the “Hospital Diamond” It gets its name from the fact that, yes you guessed it, it’s right by the hospital. It’s a decent enough diamond, grass infield with shale paths, and the way you get there coming in from the West (Highway 16) is: Stay headed East on Highway 16 (once you enter the city, highway 16 becomes 44th street) until you get to 50th Avenue (also known as Highway 17 – the intersection of these two highways / streets has an Arby’s on one corner, a KFC on another and a Petro Can on another). Turn south (right) on 50th avenue (Highway 17) and drive until 36th street; turn East (left) at the lights on 36th street (at the intersection of 50th ave and 36th street you will see the Co-op Mall to the West and there will be a 7-11 on the East side). Drive East on 36th street. You will go through two - 4 way stops, one just East of the 7-11 and one will be by Jack Kemp School. Stay East on 36th street driving past Jack Kemp school on your left (north) and continue to drive East to the end of the school yard plus another 2 blocks or so. Keep looking north (to your left) as you drive East and you will come up to the diamond. It will be on your left (north) side. When you look across the diamond through centerfield you will see the back of the hospital in the background.

The field is right next to the Rundle Park Recreation Centre located at 2909 - 113 Avenue. It can be accessed via 118 Avenue and Victoria Trail. From Spruce Grove, take Yellowhead and exit at Victoria Trail just before the Beverly Bridge and follow the Rundle Park directions. The baseball diamonds are at the bottom of the park beside the tennis courts.
