Monona sweeps the weekend

Monona notched two wins this past weekend, beating Portage at home, 3-2 and Marshall on the road, 11-6.  The Braves are now 7-3 in the Eastern Section, and sit in 4th place.

The Braves travel to Cottage Grove this coming Friday to take on their nearby rivals and hope to gain another game in the standings with a win at Firemen's Park.  First pitch is at 7:30pm.
