DBACKS fall short in semis

LETHBRIDGE - After winning their first game over the Calgary Jr. Dinos, the DBACKs lost their next two by one run. PBA had a one run walkoff victory over the DBACKs on Friday morning, while Okotoks beat them by one on Friday afternoon. On Saturday, after advancing to the Semi-Finals, the DBACKs were mercied by the Southeast Twins. On Sunday morning the DBACKs played a very strong Vauxhall Jets for a chance to advance to the finals. However, too many errors and too many left on base was too much for the DBACKs to overcome as they lost, to the eventual tournament winners.

The DBACKs open their league season with a double header this Saturday in Regina.
