Expo's Come back Downs Tribe!

Pitchers Hutchings (Vancouver) and Clark (Tri City) got the start and both worked through a couple of jams early as each team left 3 base runners in the first two inning to keep this game locked at zeros thru the first 2 innings.

Tri City struck first when Sugi opened up the 3rd with a single and Wilson doubled to plate him and give the Indians a 1-0 lead.  Both Pitchers combined to retire the next 15 batters until Vancouver opened up the bottom of the 5th inning with a single.  This hit ignited the Expo offence and two hits later the Expos had flipped the tables on the Indians and they were the ones that now led by a one run margin 2 - 1.

The Indians managed one hit in the 6th but could not follow it up with anything.  The Expos led off the 6th with a hit and executed their offence well manufacturing an insurance run to take a 3 - 1 lead.  The Indians were unable to get a baserunner in the 7th.

Both starting pitchers were good in this one with Hutchings picking up the win while Clark in a great outing was saddled with the loss.
