Supers Win Season Opener

On Friday May 10 the Supers travelled to Yorkton to take on the Orioles and came away with a 12-0 victory.

The pitching staff was lights out as Kholton Shewchuk, Kody Rock, Adam Korb, and Jordan Evans combined to pitch a shutout, with Evans picking up the win. Shewchuk started the game and tossed three innings allowing just two hits with two strikeouts. Rock pitched a scoreless fourth inning striking out three after allowing a single and a hit batter. Korb got out of a bases loaded jam in the fifth while sitting down the side in the sixth. Evans struck out three consecutive batters in the seventh to finish the game.

Kody Rock led the way offensively with three singles, while Shewchuk, Evans, and Sean Kolodziejski each had two hits. Korb, Evan Rostotski, Derek Palagian and Logan Parachoniak each had one hit. 

The Supers scored one run in the first, four in the third, four in the sixth, and three in the seventh to cruise to victory. The next game will be this Thursday, May 16 as the Willowbrook Royals come to town. Game time is 6:15 PM at Al Sapieha Field
