Posted March 28, 2016
The varsity girls last regular season tournament of the year on March 10 was rained out. We were pumped and ready but Mother Nature had other plans. They are practicing hard are ready to go for district on April 4-5.
The boys played in their regional preview tournament over the weekend at Eagle Pointe. This tournament represents the best boys teams in our region. The boys finished in 3rd place. We had a Day 1 total of 306. They were led by Jared Bray and Cade Kiser's 75, followed by Jamie Rogers firing a 76. Will Speer and Lorenzo Siboro shot 80, 81 respectively. On Saturday the boys shot 4 strokes better. Jared Bray shot a 69 and Cade Kiser 70. Those great scores were followed by an 80, 83, and 91 fired by Lorenzo Siboro, Jamie Rogers and Will Speer. The boys played hard and we missed first place by 5 strokes. It should be a great regional tournament in mid- April. Way to go to both Boy and Girl Cougar golf teams. The Cougars have worked hard and it is paying off. Keep up the good work!!!!
