BOYS AND GIRLS TEAM ADVANCE TO REGIONALS!!!!

 

The Girls finished the  2 day District Tournament as District Runner-Up to 7 Lakes.  The next closest team was 29 strokes away from them.  The team consisted of Katie Shepherd, Kathleen Escobar, Karen Alvarez, Sarah Zimmerle and Christabella Siboro.  Katie Shepherd and Kathleen Escobar finished as a top ten district golfer.  With wind gusts at 25 mph, it was a tough, grinding day.  As usual, these ladies handled it in stride.  Coach Hildebrand and I are so proud of these ladies.  Michelle Khajeh and Morgan Dixon competed and ended their year as medalists.

 

The Boys team was down by 10 strokes to 7 Lakes after day 1 and Katy was only 4 behind.  The boys team of Jamie Rogers, Sean Ngo, Lorenzo Siboro, Cade Kiser and Jared Bray fought back to be the back-to-back District Champion by one stroke.  Jared Bray sunk a 5 foot breaking putt on the last hole of the tournament to cap it off.  It was as exciting as a finish as you can have in golf.  Jared Bray won the 1st place individual medal by 5 strokes for the 2nd year in a row.  Cade Kiser had to go to a sudden death play-off for 3rd place.  He sunk a 15 foot down hill breaking putt for birdie on the first hole to win it.  Lorenzo Siboro was a top ten golfer.  Ricky Dittemore, Alek Zaeff, Nick Barzilla, Jon Kurihara and Michael Sporkin ended their season as our second team.

 

 All golfers represented CRHS with class.
