Antchak Selected All Region First Team

Brad Antchak('13) of the Northeastern A&M Golden Norsemen has earned All-Region first team honors in the NJCAA Region II. He was also awarded the Gold Glove as the top shortstop in the region. Antchak, who played for the Blue Jays from 2010-2013, ranked eighth in the region in hitting with a .367 average in 150 at-bats. He tied for second with 10 home runs while finishing second with 55 runs batted in. Antchak has 13 doubles and three triples along with 55 runs scored and 14 stolen bases. Brad was selected by the Houston Astros in the 39th round of the 2014 MLB June Amateur Draft, but chose to return to Northeastern A&M for another season.
