2019 PBL All-Stars

It is that time of the year again, the annual Harry Andreassen All-Star Challenge between the Powerline Baseball League All Stars and the Battle River Baseball League All Stars is set for Sunday August 11 in Camrose. 

The PBL currently leads the all time series with a 10-6-2 record against the BRBL dating back to 2000 while the teams have alteranted victors since 2014. In 2018 it was the PBL with a 15-8 victory and in 2017 the BRBL managed to double up the PBL with a 12-6 win. 

In 2017 the Doug Wolbeck Memorial Trophy was introduced to the game as a way to recognize the game's Most Valueable Player. The inaugural winner was Matt Stebner from the Heisler Cardinals with Luke Ryan from the Armena Royals winning the award in 2018.

Here is a list of players who will be suiting up for the Powerline Baseball League All Star team with more players from the remaining teams expected to be announced shortly. The team will be managed by Ian Sherbaniuk from the Armena Royals as the winners of the previous season's PBL Championship.

Camrose Roadrunners - Colton Craig, Cal Zimmer, Lance Zimmer

Edmonton Expos - Kris Dyck, Vaughn Rempel

Leduc Milleteers - Adam Pahl

Rosalind Athletics - Chase Leslie, Carter McDonald, Sheldon Pederson

Tofield Braves - Ray Lehman, Shaye Yoder
