Focus on THIS pitch.
Make the umpires think highly of us. Be respectful.
Only coaches speak to umpires.
Make all of the routine plays.
Leave the field every day with a dirty uni. Be a dirtbag!
Win with class. Lose with class. In other words, be classy!
Always, always, always- COMMUNICATE. Use your outside voice!
Play with confidence. Show confidence in your teammates.
Remember, confidence comes from doing something well several times over a long period of time. Trust your preparation.
Embrace the moment. Be the player who wants the ball hit to him and/or be at the plate with the game on the line.
Play hard for 21 outs.
Dedicate yourself to getting better each day.
You can always learn from watching, so watch how other great players prepare. Apply what you learn to your game.
Baseball is a game of failure. To be great, you must learn how to deal with failure and maintain a positive mental outlook.
Never get beat by lack of preparation.
Never allow yourself to be outworked by an opponent.
