Head Coach: 

Tyler Lawson 

This will be Tyler’s second season as Head Coach with the program..  Tyler is a former pitcher for the University of the Fraser Valley of the Canadian Colleges Baseball Conference. His favorite playing highlight was being selected to represent Team BC at the Under 21 Canadian Nationals in Regina.  He brings six years of coaching experience, also working as a guest coach & clinic instructor.  

Hitting Coach: 

Ryan Kaplanis 

This will be Ryan’s second season as an assistant with the program.  Ryan was an outfielder for the University of the Fraser Valley of the Canadian Colleges Baseball Conference. He was a 2015 Premier Baseball League Second Team All Star. He finished top 10 in the batting average race in the league and led his team, the Whalley Chiefs in batting average. Ryan will be a great asset for the outfielders and will bring tremendous knowledge for our hitters.

Infield Coach: 

Chad Miller 

This will be Chad’s second season as an assistant with the program.  Chad is a middle infielder who brings many years of playing experience.  He played in the PIL for two seasons & currently continues playing in the LMBA 30 plus division.  Chad’s favourite playing highlights are the 1987 nationals in Sherbrooke Quebec where they won the bronze along with the premier nationals in Morden Manitoba in 1994 where they won Gold.  Chad also brings years of coaching experience, such as coaching with the Bantam AA Delta Tigers.  

Pitching Coach: 

J.R. Morill 

This will be J.R’s first season as an assistant with the program.  J.R. is a former pitcher for the Douglas College Royals of the NWACC.  J.R. has an extensive coaching background such as winning the PeeWee A Provincials with SCBA, serving as a pitching coaching with the Ridge Meadows Bantam AAA team, and spending the past two seasons as the pitching coach with the Surrey-Newton Bantam AA team.
