Mounties look to play in 7 tournaments!

Posted March 10, 2012

The Vancouver Mounties schedule is beginning to fill up as they hope to go in 7 tournaments during the season. Playing in tournaments is important to see players in different situations against different teams.  Depending upon the regular season schedule (still pending) the Mounties hope to cross the border a few times to take on some American competition.

"It's become a cornerstone of the Mounties program to have games against American teams" explained coach Ted Pawlick. "We play against American competition to push and challenge our players. We may not always win but at the end of the day we know our players will get better by playing against them."

The tournament season kicks off with the Cloverdale Jamboree in late March.
