Practice Hard / Play For Fun
By Coach Harbor
The Louisiana Bayou Angels finished IN the WBCBL open round last season.
To most teams, that would be an honor, as the WBCBL has dozens of teams across the country, which showcase some of the most prominent players in the nation.
But in 2017, the Angels want more.
With several familiar faces on its roster, sprinkled with a few new additions, the Bayou Angels look forward to a new season.
"We fell short last year," said Bayou Angels' returning guard Hannah Kador. "But this year, I think we have a very talented team from top-to-bottom and we will make another run. I think we have a roster full of players hungry and ready to play.
For the Angels, the 2017 season is here.
The team will practice this week and next week before making its 2017 season debut with the Albama Reign on May 13. That game will take place at 2 p.m. Youns Stars Academy, Birmingham, Al.
