 Summer Strength and Conditioning High School

This course is designed to be an advanced strength and conditioning course to promote a physically fit athlete for all Mayville athletics. The students will be expected to follow the prescribed fitness program. To assure the students reach his or her expected results, they will be measured weekly in different areas of achievement. Achievement will be based on personal fitness goals that are designed by the instructor and student together. This course includes strength, core/balance, speed,cardio, and agility training. More than 3 unexcused absences will result in being dropped from the course.

 

Class times are as follows: 

12th & 11th Graders  7:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.   

10th & 9th Graders  9:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

 

Summer Strength and Fitness for Middle School

Strength and Fitness is designed to provide students with an opportunity to learn and participate inmovement based activities that promote gains in strength, speed, cardio and agility. Students will beeducated in proper weight room techniques, safety and etiquette, sprint/speed mechanics, athleticmovements and increasing their cardio fitness. The instructor and the student will create a set offitness goals to obtain during the duration of the course. This course includes strength, core/balance,speed, cardio and agility training. More than 3 unexcused absences will result in being dropped fromthe course.

 

 Class times are as follows:  8th,7th& 6th

Graders 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

NO SUMMER SCHOOL ON MONDAY JULY 4TH, 2011


 




The Weight Room is open from 3:00pm to 5:00pm

Monday - Friday

 The Weight Room will also be open from 6:00am to 6:45am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for those players who have other after school commitments.
