The Patriots are rid ing a two game win streak as played host GW Danville Eagles. Hoping to bui ld off great game againist Franklin County the Patriots captured their thi rd win in the district. Patrick Henry was paced on the mound by Sophomore Zach Whitaker who picked up his second district win in as many starts. 'Za ch pitched a great game. He is beginning to develop into a good high schoo l pitcher.' Head Coach Aaron Haigler said. 'He [Whitaker] had good control of all his pitches tonight. When he is on\, he is tough to beat. I like t hat he works quickly and waste little time on the mound.' added Haigler. A t the plate\, the Patriots were lead by Sophomore Aaron Burton who went 2- 2 with a single and double. 'AB is going to be a good high school hitter. he has a good approach and is adjusting the the speed of the game better e ach at bat.' said Haigler. Along with leading PH at the plate\, Burton mad e some really nice plays down at third base. 'Aaron really takes pride in playing defense.
