| Game Notes: In the morning game Capital City started off slow against the Knights; going down 1-0 on a ground out by Jacob Wood in the top of the 2nd. The pace picked up offensively for the Black Sox in the 3rd; they rolled up 5 runs on 4 hits, capped off by a 2 RBI single by Travis Klampe. They tacked on 3 more in the 4th to go up 8-1. The Knights came back and scored 2 unearned runs in the top of the 7th but it wasn't enough with the game ending at an 8-3 score. Travis Klampe went 2-4 with 3 RBI's and pitched well getting the win in 4 innings pitched, giving up1 run, striking out 3. Cyrus Mooney also led the Sox at the plate going 3-3 with a 2B and 2 RBI's. | ||||||||||
