Notes:
JUST LIKE KISSING YOUR SISTER: It is Said that a Tie is Like Kissing your Sister, But as i See it-A Tie is Better then a Loss. This Week the Bears and Scorpion Motorsports Played 8 Innings to a 7-7 Tie-It was the 1st Official Tie in the Bears 2 Plus Year History. The Bears Found themselves Trailing 4-0 after 4 Innings, But then the Bats got Hot and the Bears Scored 6 Runs in 2 Innings to take a 6-4 Lead, It is was poor defense that gave the Lead back to the Scorpions, and Forced the Bears to Rally for 1 Run in the Top of the 8th to Tie the Game at 7. Reliever Scott Karstedt Pitched well in relief of Starter Mo Molina, Karstedt Allowed 4 Hits and 4 Walks While Striking Out 9 and Not Allowing an Earned Run in 6 Innings-Andrew Zoulko Pitched the Final Inning Striking out 2 and Walking 2. Offensively Starting Leftfielder Robert Hinchcliffe caught Fire and Went 3 for 3 and Scored 2 Runs, Leadoff Batter Dave Scaringe returned to the Bears Lineup and Contributed 2 Hits, A Run Scored and an RBI, Zoulko also had 2 Hits and 2 RBI, and Kevin Hughes had a Good All Around Game with a Hit, a Walk, a Run Scored, a Stolen Base and 2 RBI's. The Bears Maintain their 1st Place Position within the American Division, and are Still the Only Team without a Division Loss. |
