Game Notes: The Waukesha Firebirds (Black) and the Racine Erickson U12 Teams had a 7 inning battle with the Racine Team coming out on top 11-9. This game was back in forth both ways and neither team would give up. The loss was the Firebirds first loss in Great lakes Youth Baseball League play. This makes them 7-1 on the season in GLYBL play. More important than the record in League play is that alot of boys stepped up and played hard and found out that you never quit and you give everything you have at all times no matter what the score is. League games are to teach and learn and I believe we are starting to understand that you must work hard at all times and have a short memory when mistakes are made and learn from them.
