Game Notes: The Renegades left no doubt in the final of the 2008 Thunder Clash, beating the host Thunder 24-5 and opening the game with nine straight hits. Nick had three hits including two doubles, both Austin L and Lucas had three hits including a double, and Michael added three hits. With two hits each were Austin S (double), Patrick (double) and Ryan. Zach had a home run, Reid added a double, and both Clint and Steven added singles to close the Renegade hit parade. Every Renegade scored in the game. The pitching was a bit anti-climatic after the big first inning, but Lucas started and held the Thunder to 2 hits and no earned runs, while striking out two over the first three innings. Michael closed out the game notching 1 K over the last inning.
