| Game Notes: Once again defensive lapses were the difference as the Popes fell to Arrowhead in the first of two, 10-5 in 8 innings in a game that shouldn't have even gotten that far. 2 unearned runs extended the game into extra innings, where Arrowhead pounded A.J. Seagraves for 6 hits and 6 runs to win going away. Starter Kevin Robinson allowed 8 hits, and pitched around the defensive adventures in going the first 7 before giving way to Seagraves in the 8th. The one-two punch of Robinson and Joe Schreck went a combined 5-7 with 3 driven in to pace the offense. Robinson had 3 singles and an RBI and Schreck knocked in two on a single and a double. | |||||||||||
