| Game Notes: The Popes carried a 7-3 lead into the 7th against Wauwatosa East, but 3 hits and a walk later, a grand slam homer tied the game and the Raiders pushed across 2 more in the 8th to take the victory 9-7. Starter Alex Kosinski worked the first 3 and 2/3, scattering 8 hits and allowing the first 3 runs. Sophomore lefty Scott Perry came on in relief and pitched shutout ball in the 5th and 6th before leaving with the bases loaded in the 7th. Senior Joe Schreck gave up the tying home run and two more in the 8th to get the loss. Dave Van Rixel knocked in 3 runs with a double and Kevin Robinson doubled to pace the offense which took advantage of 4 hit batters and 4 walks to score 7 runs. | |||||||||||
