Game
Notes:
It was a heartbreaker for the El Tigre' today. The Eagles pushed 2 across in the first to take an early lead. Then the Tigers answered the bell in the bottom half, comming up with 2 runs of there own. Grenon cruised through the 2 and the Tigers staked him to a 1 run lead in the bottom half, thanks to a leadoff BB by new Tiger K. Williams(1 of 3 free passes he had on the day) and RBI from Sloboda (1 of his 3 knocks). The lead wouldn't hold up, the Eagles most dangerous hitter, got just enough of a Grenon change and tied up the score. After the 3rd the Tigers bats took a break, and the Eagles hitters found the sun field. With the sun aiding several of the routine fly balls, the Eagles took advantage and never looked back, scoring 11 runs in 2 inning. Gylling came in to finish the 5th and closed out the final 4 innings. Next up are the Bombers in a Wednesday night clash. The Tigers will have something to prove this Wednesday. Don't miss it. |
