Game Notes: Victoria Mariners scored a run in the bottom of the first inning off a double by Jake Salter and an rbi single by Kyle Orr, then held on for a 1 - 0 win over the Kelowna Cubs at Henderson Park in Victoria. Brendan Orr tossed a one hitter for the Mariners, as Jordan Valgardson's first inning single was the only hit the Cubs could manage. Axel Scott pitched an excellent game for Kelowna, striking out five, but took the loss with no run support from his mates. All in all, it was an excellent baseball game. |
