Game Notes: Justin Kohls struck out 13 and went the distance for Watertown, dealing Plato its 1st loss of the year. The Bluejays had some chances but couldn't come up with the big hit. After Smothers scored on a wild pitch in the 1st, we had runners 2nd & 3rd but couldn't get anymore. Watertown put together a 2 out rally for 3 runs in the 3rd (1 earned). 3-1 watertown. Down 4-1 in the 7th, Plato loads the bases with one out. Tony lines the 1st pitch back at Kohls, and he doubles off Slater at 1st, inn over. Eric added a solo HR in the 9th,but not enough as Watertown wins 4-2. Tony got the start and worked 6 inns. We welcomed back Matt Odegaard from college as he worked a scoreless but eventful 8th inn. Ben Slater got his 1st career start behing the plate for Plato and did a fine job. We should be at full strenth finally, next friday for the Brewers game.....We Coming!!
