Game Notes: Finally both GI & Plato are back in class C to play a meaningful game... The 2 teams picked up where they left off , battling back and forth. Irish strike 1st on a single in 1st. Both pitchers hung a bunch of 0's then the 6th where Plato put a 3 spot up. EE walks, gets to 2nd, boomer single, Tony walks, Nixy walk to force EE in. Menard singles, and Dean singles 3-1 Plato. Bottom 6th, the strike zone became alot smaller....1st 2 guys walk and GI manufactures a run 3-2 plato Bottom 8th after a couple walks, GI get a huge 2 out hit to tie the game. 2 outs bottom 9, Gi get a base hit to left, dean makes a strong throw and Troy Breyer is called out at the plate to put the game in extra inns. Bottom 10th, runners on 1st & 2nd 1 out. Boomer enters in relief of tony,1st hitter ground out to 1st, with 2 outs, a slider in the dirt went to the back stop, and runner on 3rd scores winning run. Very well played game on both sides, the luck of the Irish get the 4-3 win. Win Pilazaski Lose tony Summary, Tony pitched a great game (9 1/3) but way to many guys left on base for for the Bluejays again. he deserved a better outcome. Boomer lead the offense with 3 hits, Dean & Eric added 2 a piece.
