Notes:
The Cubs had their best offensive game of the year and supported Kilpaticks complete game four hitter. Reed Quaal, had a single and a triple, scoring two runs, Ryan Franz scored twice with a single and a two rbi double and catcher Brian Burston went two for two as part of the Cub's 12 hit game. Spencer Kilpatrick struck out two, walked one and hit one batter. He had great control and was supported by a number of good infield defensive plays. |
