Game Notes: Game 3 Bluejays win 9-4 in 12 inns over the Cardinals. Plato jumped out early with 2 in the 1stoff an error and rbi single by Lang, then Menard hit a sole HR in the 3rd for a 3-0 lead. Boomer started on the hill for Plato, in the 5th a hit batter, then 2 outs, then a 2 run HR by Cards and it was 3-2, Boomer gave up a single to start the 6th , then Tony enter on the hill, another single, then a walk, bases loaded then an error plated 2 runs, and cards had 4-3 lead but thats all they would get that inn and the rest of the game. Top 9th Lang on 2nd 2 outs, and Nixy drives a ball to center that falls for a double, tieing the game. Stayed tied till the 12 when Plato broke it open with a 5 spot. 12th, 1st & 2nd 1 out, Deans huge double tied the game, then Johnson doubled home a run, Menard singled home a run, Ode singled home a run,Lang hit a sac fly....Final 9-4 Tony had 3 hits and pitched a great 7inns of relief for the win. Y/A was the CRVL region 7C rep in the state tourney last year, and they showed why , never giving up, coming back after down a game, and down 3-0 in game 3. Both teams treated the fans to some good ball in this series, 1 good team had to be out early. Thanks for a great series Cardinals!! Win Tony W Loss J.P.
