Game Notes: The run comes to and end for Plato by way of a 4-3 lost to Winsted on Saturday. A packed house of over 400 people saw a very good game. Winsted and Waconia now quailify for state and will be playing in Glencoe on Friday night. 1st inn Menard doubles, Eric hits a ball up the middle that is throw away, run scores 1-0 Winsted comes right back to tie the game at 1-1 Top 7th, Plato down 3-1, Ode leads off with a double, then Eric ties the game with a Home Run. Bottom 8th after a strikem out throwem out, 2 out nobody on, then a double,INT walk, and a big RBI single, gave Winsted the 4-3 lead. Top 9th, Plato got the 1st 2 runners on, but was unable to get any acroos home plate Game over 4-3 Winsted Tony got the start on the hill and worked 5 1/3, Drafftee Cody Hallahan took the tough loss in relief. See you all next year, same time same place!!!
