Game Notes: The Thunder dropped their second straight one-run decision in the Firecracker Tournament, 7-6. The club rebounded from a rough fifth inning in which the Fire tallied five runs and took a 5-3 lead, as The Thunder came back with three in the sixth and led 6-5 heading into the final frame. Chad Eul (2B,3RBI) went 3-for-4; Ryan "Big Ticket" Stepan had two hits and scored twice. "Easy" Eddie Hagberg (RBI) and Beau Jacobson each had two hits and Brad "B-Train" Landgrebe, Derek Jacobson and Josh Retka added one hit apiece. The Thunder (8-3 league, 12-7 overall) concludes its regular season with their final division game Tuesday at Burnsville.
