Game Notes: Kelowna Cubs jumped into an early lead, then let Abbotsford battle back, but won a 10-9 decision to sweep their doubleheader. After Kelowna had taken an 8-2 lead, Josh Brink's three run brought the Cardinals within two runs. Two more runs in the top of six tied the game. In the bottom of the sixth, Travis Schroeder walked, scored on Brett Sanguin's double to give the Cubs the lead. Sanguin then scored on Cam Kryzanowski's ground out. Brandon Kaufman got the win on the mound for Kelowna, with Kryzanowski getting a save with the last two outs of the game. |
