Game Notes: Winsted vs Plato After huge wins, Friday and Saturday, the Bluejays had another tough battle sunday with the Wildcats. Bratsch started and struggled with control early, a walk, HBP, the a error on a DP ball, then another Error on a throw to plate, another HBP forced the 2nd run in.. 2-0 Wildcats Winsted starter Steve bispiring controlled Plato early retiring the 9 outta 10 to start the game. 4th inn Ode singles, steals 2nd, eric Rbi single, 2-1 Winsted comes right back with a run as they coax 3 HBP in the inn to force in a run. 3-1 prehn would start the 6th off with a triple, sac fly by Ode made score 3-2 7th inn Tony reach on Error, Levi PR for him, steals 2nd, then trys stealing 3rd and ball is thrown away, tie game 3-3. Bottom 9th, Boomer and ditty lead off with walks, Johnson bunt single. then next 2 hitter make outs, ode singles and once again the Bluejays Win Walk off style!! 4-3 Bratsch went 6 inns, was hurt by 5 HBP but kept us in the game, with battling outta jams. Ode pitched 3 scoreless inns for the win. Johnson was 4-4 to lead the offense. Plato has now gauerenteed themselves the 1st or 2nd spot in the CRVL South. Great weekend for the Bluejays!!
