Game Notes: Let’s address Saturday’s game briefly. Yes, we lost 7-0 but the kids played hard against a very good opponent. The team had no bench during the game and by the 2nd half, the players were quite tired but the coaches still noticed that they were still trying to break the shutout. MVP offense: John Pineda- John aggressively challenged the opposing players and raced down the field to place pressure on the defense. John showed his true attitude as he tried to break the shutout late in the game even through the team was down 7-0. Congrats John! MVP Defense: Matthew Cha- Matthew worked tirelessly throughout the game as the opposing team attacked the defense. Matthew stopped numerous strong offensive drives and was able to turn the ball back to our offense several times. Congrats to Matt!
