Notes:
McDevitt, Johansen (5), Augustin (6), Wilson (7) & Bangh (7) LAKEVILLE -- Eastview (19-13-2) defeated North Branch 9-5 in the second game of pool play. The Lightning jumped on the board first after a leadoff Terlizzi (3 H, 2 RS, SB) double and he scored on a Selchow (2 H, 2 RS, BB) groundout. In the 3rd, Selchow led off with a double. After two walks, Wilson (3 RBI, 2 1B, SB, BB) drove in two on a single. Another run scored after two more walks. In the 5th, McLean (2 BB, RS) led off with a walk and moved to second on a Stockwell SAC bunt. After a single and a walk, McDevitt scored two with a double. After a strikeout, Ibeneme and Wilson both had RBI singles. The Lightning defense improved their defense committing only 2 errors after having 7 in game one. After two games of pool play, Eastview needs to defeat Eagan (2-0). If Inver Grove defeats North Branch, the Lightning need to run up the score on the Wildcats to have a shot at advancing.
