Game Notes: Johansen ANDOVER -- Eastview (22-14-2) defeated Rogers by a score of 13-2 to open pool play at the Gopher State Tournament. Jordan Johansen went the distance allowing only 4 hits and 2 earned runs. He had a 1-hit shutout going to the last frame before Rogers mustered a few meaningless runs. The Lightning bats were on as six different players reached base multiple times. The Rogers pitching staff struggled to find the zone as they walked 9 batters but when they did find the zone, Eastview made them pay with 10 hits, half of which were with 2 outs. Rogers lost its opening game to Robbinsdale Friday night by a score of 8-2 so they are all but eliminated. Eastview faces Robbinsdale next in another 5-inning game at 330pm. Cole McDevitt (2-2, 4.92) is scheduled to make the start. Johansen (W, 4-1)
