Notes:
The Vikings' rally in the 7th inning came up just short, as Zac Tiedeman's screaming line drive down the right field line, with two out and two on, was caught to end the game, and the season. Brad Routh started the rally with a bunt single, and Alex Illsley got a hit to keep it going. Sean Bradford drew a walk on a close 3-2 pitch to set up the potential dramatic ending, only to have the game end on a two strike line out by Zac. Scott Mitchell kept the Vikes in the ballgame after giving up two in the bottom of the first. |
