Game Notes: Game two goes to the 'Gades with Ryan pitching 2 innings of 1-hit ball, followed by Austin's 2006 pitching debut. Austin sparkled with one inning of 2 K, 1 BB pitching, giving up no hits. Micheal had 2 HR/4 RBI, Clint had a HR, 2B, and 5 RBI., Brian with two hits (HR) and Steven added a HR. Drew had two hits, and Austin, Ryan, and Parker also added hits. Patrick scored 3 runs with no official ABs (2 BB, one HBP). After the game, the Farragut coach commented on how well the Renegades played the game and were well grounded in the fundamentals. An example: Parker was on-the-spot backing up an errant pickoff throw to first by the Renegades catcher, preventing an advance by the runner.
